Focus Daniel-son - It's not ALL About the Numbers
Each day for the past 2 weeks, I awake and login into WA to see what has happened as I slept. Did I gain any more followers? Did someone I follow post a new blog? Maybe there is a new training? But really....I really want to see if my rank fluctuated!
Ah, nothing like being competitive. Why? I honestly feel that being competitive can drive us to push ourselves even into an uncomfortable area that forces us to grow. And that is a big deal to me, and in the 2 weeks I have been here, I have grown exponentially.
Through learning, listening, communicating with others and going out and doing the work on my own! Accomplishment, yes!But...
Here I am every morning...what is my number?
One very important thing I told myself this morning that led me to write this is, that number, no matter how high, does not TRULY indicate success. Yes, I believe that the better that number the more likely you are to be successful in the adventures of online affiliate marketing or branding of your niche, but I should not allow it to start defining me.
I am here to prove to myself I can be successful in the online world. Whether marketing, branding or maybe a future sales endeavor. Not to treat WA like a Facebook or Twitter. Yes, I will like comments I truly like, and follow those whom I will, but I refuse to become distracted from my main goal: SUCCESS. Now the other side of this statement is that the people I follow can help in success, but I am not out to follow everyone, just the ones I see that can help me get 'uncomfortable' :)
Writing this bog is truly me being 'out of my comfort zone'.
Sincerely,
Tony (YouChoose4U)
P.S.If I haven't followed you yet, no worries. I have only been here 2 weeks, I'll find ya!

And you did it Tony! Well done. The only way to move through discomfort is to do it and then it's not nearly as bad as you thought, usually.
