Should I delete my website?

So im kind of in a dilemma... I am thinking about starting over from scratch but I need some advice from you guys & I also have some questions.

I actually took a month break from WA because I think I kind of burned myself out. I was trying so hard & even got desperate to the point where I put my website on other autosurf websites to get more traffic so i could rank higher in google.

This was a very bad idea & I believe google punished me for it. I even believe now my future posts wont even rank at all. So for those of you even thinking about doing what I did, DONT! lol Just listen to kyle & keep writing great content.

My question is this, if i decide to delete my website (becomeamusicproducer.com) could I copy some of the content I wrote from that website & put some of that content on my new website? Possibly reword some of it? I just dont want all that hard work to go to waste....The new website is still going to be related to music but its going to be more about me branding myself.

Please let me know what you guys think? I look forward to hearing some advice.

Hi, to be honest its your call. You could keep this one on the back burner and build another site if you want to take it in another direction, I wouldn't delete the site you have, it look pretty good. I would focus on one site, though. Personally I would fix the site I had, keep following the lessons and make it work. Just my two cents though lol

I would try to fix the existing problem. If you're using Google Webmaster tools, they'll let you know about incoming links to your site that they don't like. You can then tell Google to ignore those links.

It is possible to bring a site back in the Google rankings, and it's probably less work than starting over.

Thanks charlie, I will take that into consideration because if its truly less work then I wont delete it.
