How do I get Mobile Visitors to stay on Longer
Hi Everyone
So I noticed on my Google Analytics that more visitors are coming from their phone, naturally, but they are not staying on that long. They look at 2.4 pages and quickly hop off, while desktop visitors are less but they are looking at 10.8 pages and are staying on much longer.
I m a very happy that desktop visitors are actually reading the articles but how to I get mobile visitors to stay on longer without being less thorough with the content. Thanks in Advance

Gosh...so much to learn and think about. Every new thing I learn opens up a whole bunch of other unknowns. One day at a time. Thanks for asking the question. Debbie
This is a great question that everyone with a web presence is trying hard to figure out! Even big companies that spend a ton of money online are dying to know the answer to this question.
I think in the end it will be about having content that is engaging to the user.
Smaller screens like the phone present some challenges in how to deliver your content in a way that is attractive and engaging.
Also, I think when people are using their phone to look at websites, they want the information quickly and concisely. At least that is how I feel when I am using the phone to surf.
Optimizing your website for presentation on a mobile device is more important than ever! Make sure you are using a theme that is responsive to the various screens people use to view it.
I always like to test my pages and posts on multiple devices to ensure the presentation is what I am looking for.
Good luck in your endeavors!
Sincerely,
Tom
