Each month, I go through the same thing
I find that I am at my very best, for only one good week a month! I know that sounds ridiculous to say, but its true. I am a 35 year old woman. I'm sure you guys probably didn't think that based off my picture but its true, I was born in 1980. I am a woman in my mid thirties, going through my own changes in life, and I have discovered what on average I go through each month. It never changes, and is always consistent. :)
For the beginning of the month, I'm wide eyed and bushy tail. I'm focused, very motivated, multi-tasker between my day job and WA. I'm still getting the hand of blogging which is why i'm writing this today. But for the sake of blogging, each month I always go through the same thing. I feel the same way every single month!!
By the 2nd week of the month, I'm still motivated, but I can feel my mood and attitude slightly shift. I don't know if this is a good shift either. I still put in my efforts promoting WA online and work on my websites during the week.
By the 3rd week, I'm losing my focus. I feel distracted, and very emotional. I don't work on my websites much and find it hard to concentrate. My mood has changed completely, and I find most of the time I am irritated by everything!
By the 4 week, another shift in my mood, but this time I'm feeling motivated again. I'm starting to come around and be myself, and I spend time working on my sites and promoting WA online.
Do you see a pattern? I find it so interesting how I can go up and down so drastically each week. I hug and kiss my husband more and more each day for loving me! LOL
I wonder if other women struggle with this as well? Please feel free to let me know your thoughts. Do men go through this, or do you think its just a "woman" thing? :)

Don't worry, you're not only one! Whenever I feel doubtful about my goal plan, I recognize it as a signal that I'm off track and I need to switch gears.
Staying focused, staying positive, and learning from mistakes helps. ^_^
Thank you so much Alexandria!!!! I appreciate your inspiring words! I am doing just that and focusing on new habits. Seems to be working I am on track and getting lots of accomplished!! To OUR success!!!! :)
YAY! There's a book titled, "The Power of Habit" by Charles Duhigg you can read that discusses the subject of habit and how we can use it to our advantage. Very cool. It's one of my favorite books I've so far this year!
Eish...Human beings are creatures of habit. Start to unhabit those and install new habits. Thats the most difficult thing to do. Do it one at a time. :)
LOL!!! That's very good advice!!! I like that, thanks for the advice!!!! You are so right about habit, and also routine, i'm very routine!!
Yamaris bless your heart, I go through all these changes in 1 day!! I have a child that is 2 years younger than you so look what you have to look forward to:-)
Cheers,
Erin
Yes is can be a challenge, but I suspect with time and confidence you will get it all worked out :-)
Hi, this made me laugh to myself because I relate! It's not completely the same, but I definitely start well, then I have a lull and then normally the last few days of the month are productive as I'm planning the month ahead -- and so on! But I go through lots of ups and downs emotionally, mood wise and motivation wise!!
Right? its so funny how we can go through so many emotions in such a short amount of time! Good luck to you!!! :)
Perhaps during the 3rd week, do or buy something nice for yourself. Or spend the 3rd week doing something other than working on your website. Spend more time in the WA community or in social media related to your website, etc.
I find it hard to get settled down on Mondays. By Tuesday, I am in full swing and fine for the rest of the workday. Weekends are like whirlwinds. And then, I am back to Monday. So, I like to spend the beginning of the week with the WA community. This community really helps me get going and keeps me encouraged.
That is so true Myra!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing! I think that is exactly what I will do! :)
Do you work on only one site / month. Maybe mixing in a different site or blog on another subject later in the month will grow new hair on your bushy tail! LOL

It would be nice if we could stay motivated all the time, but alas, it is not to be. Sorry to voice an overused cliché but if being successful were easy we'd all be successful.
This is the journey of life to experience every emotion that is available to us and not to be overcome by any one of them. That's the key. Every emotion has a positive and negative influence on our lives.
That is so true! You are absolutely right!!!! Its such a wonderful journey!!! The ups and downs are all part of it! :)
