The whole lake normally is..
My buddy whom is a tournament LM bass angler. He told me today they aren't seeing anything either.. I chummed up the dock w/ dog food. The old burlap sack and dog food cheat.. Still no catch, usually I see the carp on the chum fixture.. Crazy days!!
I'm just blogging what went on today..
My home lake, just hasn't had any fish biting. There's only one spot on the whole lake they are biting at. It's called the crappie house.
People have been fishing there for years. The fish know by now. That's a main food source go to spot.
Problem is, the lake was so low for so long. We had weeds and all kinds of vegetation sprout up. Then came last spring.. We had the whole lake full in a matter of a few days..
These fish have plenty o eat right now. But, my gf did get a carp on the line I'm guessing. The way the pole bent and took off like we were deep sea. Thats what I've seen them pull for years. Gotta be ready for those. I keep my cast open and plenty of line slack out.. Can't just start dealing with those bad boys.. Biggest I ever caught there's. We weighed at 19lbs... I had to tire him out for 20 mins. Then walk him along shore to the bank.. However, that didn't take place today!!
