ULTIMATE Guide to Twitter is LIVE! - Check it out!
Hi Everyone!
Hope whoever has holidays this weekend (Friday July 1 - Canada Day, Monday July 4 - Independence Day) is enjoying their long weekend!
I've got some great news. After my 3 months anniversary here a couple weeks ago at WA I posted a blog saying that I'm finally allowed to create training and was very excited only to find out I had to wait an extra couple weeks because I actually didn't start being a Premium member right away and in order to create training you have to be a Premium member for at least 3 months and Starter member doesn't count. So I had to wait...
LOTS of Work
Anyway that was OK because it actually gave me time to start working on writing the actual training. Oh boy, I didn't know how much work was involved. It took me 2 weeks straight of researching, writing, gathering images, and revising content to finally get it done. Each lesson is quite long so it was like writing 10 individual blog posts in 2 weeks! There's 10 lessons total (I didn't count the overview page so the lesson numbers WA display and my lesson titles might be off). Click on the link below to check it out.
Ultimate Guide on How to Use Twitter
Each lesson is broken up to focus only on that topic to ensure you can learn about it in full before moving on to the next lesson. I started from the beginning with first learning about Twitter and setting up you account for those who haven't used Twitter at all. For those who already have an account, some of it might be good to read anyway as a refresher.
Topics covered are:
- Lesson 1: Getting Started – Step-by-step guide on how to signup for Twitter
- Lesson 2: Account Overview – An intro on how to setup your profile setup and account overview
- Lesson 3: Twitter Lingo and Guidelines - Explain basic Twitter terminology like RT, TT, etc as well as go over what you can and can’t do on Twitter
- Lesson 4: Tweeting – Information on how to tweet, use of links, images, videos, hashtags, retweets, likes
- Lesson 5: Lists – Learn how to manage accounts by grouping them in manageable lists
- Lesson 6: Keyboard Shortcuts - shortcuts to make you be more efficient with Twitter
- Lesson 7: Searching – Learn how to search effectively in Twitter
- Lesson 8: Building Your Network – Tips and tricks on what I did to get followers including free tools that I’ve used
- Lesson 9: Twitter Ads – Paying to promote on Twitter
- Lesson 10: Twitter Analytics – Analyzing your Twitter account

Feedback Please!
As this is my very first training I really would appreciate getting feedback. Please write them in the training lessons itself in the comments section so I know the context of the feedback so I can give appropriate answers. I'll try and answer as soon as I can.
The feedback can include questions, comments, what tools you are using, or suggestions on how I can improve things. I honestly have no idea whether people will find the training useful or if it's things that you know already but hopefully I can at least help out some beginners out there.
Milestone!
I consider getting my first training done a milestone so I'm pretty happy! Actually it's one of my goals for the month so I guess I can check that off my list.
Again, please check out the training and let me know what you think. And please write a review in the training so it can help other people see what the training is all about.
I'd appreciate it if you could share this with whoever you think will find it useful.
