54 Content-Rich Articles, No Rankings?! Have I gone mad?

4 months into writing, over 70k words and 54 posts... and somehow I'm not ranking for any of them?!
This is driving me crazy. A bunch of articles I've made had their QSR change since publication, but the majority of my articles still have a QSR of under 100. Heck, 19 of them have a QSR of less than 50!
Have I absolutely lost it... All of these pages are indexed, but aren't even ranking in the top 50. What gives???

A lot depends upon your competition. If there are a lot of pages ranking ahead of you it will take time before yours climb., but if you keep following what the training says with keyword research and SEO your rankings will get closer to #1. Age of the site also plays some roll in the ranking. We noticed on our sites, the last time Google did a new algorithm our rank climbed a lot. Many times it just takes time. Do not stop what you are doing. Keep writing.
Do you check your Google Search Console to see what query words show up? This can give you some ideas for new blogs.
Keep writing original quality content.
Yeah, I'm guessing the age of my site is probably what's holding me back. Which is kind of frustrating and almost feels like an arbitrary thing to look at, in terms of content. But so it goes.
I have checked GSC, not much there for ideas- but I still have quite a pool of keywords to write from for the time being.

We know the numbers can be frustrating, but keep focusing on writing and things will change it may take 6 months or more but it will happen.
Not to worry, Christina. As long as you're following the good practices Jay and Kyle teach in the training of choosing quality keywords and placing those quality keywords in the title, url, first paragraph, etc., your content will be found and seen! Remember, that all those quality articles you've written can additionally be found by keyword searches you didn't even intend.
You can also adjust the kinds of keywords you're going after. Maybe go for some with lower QSRs. Also, you can take a good look at the Search Analysis tab of Jaaxy to find the other competition that's ranking for a particular keyword. Sometimes a good keyword needs to be tweaked since the competition is way too established and breaking into that first page would be much more difficult than planned.
As you continue putting out quality content and start building more traffic, those past articles will definitely find the light of day. You can also go back for a refresher on one of Jay's Jaaxy webinars and find pointers that can help that you may have forgotten. It's totally normal to wonder if your work is worthwhile. Keep your nose to the grindstone!

Believe me, I am constantly shooting for the lowest QSRs possible. Though, I also read sometimes higher can be okay as the more content you have the more authority you have in google's eyes. (Though most websites have been telling me I have a DA of just one)
It was a blow but I'm definitely not going to let my work go to waste after all this time. Just going to keep at it as you say.

Glad to help! And don't dismiss quality keywords with low QSRs that have low-ish traffic numbers. Every little bit of traffic counts, and when all those posts are bringing in a little bit of traffic, that adds up. :)
