Drip: automated, targeted email marketing

In a discussion with a client right now. He has mentioned this email marketing tool called Drip https://www.getdrip.com/ which I find pretty useful for some of us.
Instead of sending the same email to everyone, you send specific themed emails according to your visitors' interest.
Check out this article that does a case study on a Drip client:

Would you use it? Why or why not?
Cheers!

I will keep this in mind. I am not quite there with email yet either but it is maybe worth a look. Thanks for this info and link.
Andi.
My site is not at the stage where I can try this out yet. But my client is getting me to write the content for his email marketing. Haven't started, we'll see how it goes.
My advice is to sign up for their email subscription to see for yourself and learn more about Drip. That was my first contact with them and I was quite impressed with how much it makes sense to online businesses.

Thanks for this I just found Drip via a kindle book I am reading 'Email Marketing Demystified', by Matthew Paulson. He lists 7 General Email Service Providers in total and it was the only one I hadn't heard of before. On closer inspection, I noted it was by Leadpages and so caught my interest.
I am going to take a look at their 'Getting Started with Drip' free video course to find out more.
