I just want to lay out details of my experiences so far.

First of all, the training offered here is wonderful, detailed and is given in a way that anyone can understand - you don't need to be a "techie" to benefit from it, and the fact that I managed to go from novice to "operator" of a website in a few days is proof of that.

The greatest asset though for me has been the WA community. Here I have found answers to just about all the questions that I had and generally discovered that others had asked the same questions before me - thankfully for me as at first I felt a bit embarrassed to ask. I have since learnt that you should never hesitate to ask - the people here are so understanding and probably have been where you are in the learning curve.

As far as progress in online marketing goes, the fortune that awaits me has not yet arrived! That is not a problem as my main reason for joining WA was to learn how to become a website builder and secondly an online marketer.

I built a couple of niche sites, using affiliate links and promptly fell foul of one organization's terms and conditions by experimenting with Google Adwords - I should have read the fine print. After 5 months (on and off) I have finally seen a few sales using Amazon links but not before I took the advice of a few of you and added more and more relevant content. That seems to have made the biggest difference.

I also created a site for my own part-time business. Again, creating good content rules, and I have had very good results from this, gaining a few new clients. I will try and monetize the site but I do not want to lose sight of the original purpose for building it.

Patience is every bit as essential as working on your sites regularly and do not give up. Be brutally honest with yourself and become your own harshest critic. If you aren't sure about something - use the WA community and ask - the advice is free and plentiful.

In summary, joining WA is one of the best decisions I ever made. I have learnt so much and everything I need to know, along with all the tools I need, are here. I also found the cost to be minimal when relating it to the knowledge I have obtained since joining. Again, the best thing of all are the people here. Thank you to all who have helped me.
