Success or Failure?
These are two of my precious "children" (not really I couldn't insert their picture, it came upside down) that I work hard for and want this endeavor to succeed. I have 3 others in the barn which hope to one day share with you all. Yes I do have children but they are off living their own incredible lives. So proud of them all. And my husband who works too hard and deserves to be able to retire, not work himself into a grave.
I have noticed we use this space for motivation, accomplishments and to communicate within the community. It is a great tool to stay motivated and to improve our writing skills.
I have seen some outstanding writers and I can only imagine I fail in comparison. But I am determined to carry on.
I have had a week and a half of set backs. I can't seem to get my gravatar account up and running, I am lost about the plug-ins and questioning my use of keywords. And I have been so busy, I can't seem to find a couple hours to sit and focus and resolve these issues. I need to get thru one at a time. Therefore my website sits out their in limbo just waiting.....waiting..... a
nd I need to get on it.
I am not trying to make people think I am giving up, far from it. I am just putting things on paper, (ok on the keyboard) as I am sure a lot of you understand where I am at. This is a tough journey, and I am determined to accomplish things that I could only dream of. I am not very computer illiterate so I struggle with the training, but eventually get it. I am the turtle, just dragging along, slow and steady, at least once I get time to resolve my small (and that is all they are) issues. I am not good at putting myself out their to ask questions, believing people think I am some sort of idiot. I do believe its got a lot to do with my computer, its old and very, very slow and just has a mind of its own. Time for a new one, did get lots of great opinions on what to get to move forward with online business. Thank you everyone!
Well, not being great at the computer only one of my setbacks, the other being off to work I go, hummm humbug... Hoping 3 years and that can go away? Anyone with me???

I've been re-engaging, too, after being "Gone" ? No, this turtle, was in solitude, working on the other issues, having more priority!
I've, cleared, away many unfinished, projects. Gone, but no forgotten.
They are seeds, yet to grow.
Now, that I've weeded, my Life's garden, ...
I'm free to begin, with a clear slate!

Slow and steady is indeed still one way to win the race. While I do agree that a new computer may make things a lot easier and more fun, working on your site slowly still can get you to the ultimate goal. If you have questions and want to keep them private, just message me and I'll do my best to help you privately. I've been doing affiliate marketing for 20 years, so while I'm not a tech guru, I do know quite a bit about everything else!

Your story sounds a lot like mine. Minus the barn. lol. I just upgraded thought I could put in mega hours until my husband woke up in such excruciating pain ending up in the ER. Now facing surgery, out of work with no PTO he was sole supporter so now I have to find a job and UBER until a job comes through or his healing which is still a few months away. I really believe this is an excellent way to earn money and wanted to bring him home as he works way to hard for me. Need to find time,, focus, and certainly prayers. Definitely feel you. We are turtles, but spoil alert. The Tortoise wins the RACE and so shall we.
Oh I am sorry to hear about your husband. He will get thru this. Yes I think this is the platform that will bring our dreams to reality. We will get there it is not a race. If you need a shoulder I am here we can get thru it together.
