Can Podcasting And Music Radio Be A Niche?
Hi, I love being called "Mr Radio Man" and radio is my passion. This brings me to ask a new question. Is it possible for a radio podcast, and music Internet radio station to be a niche? I will be able to sell stuff on the site you know, like selling anything, voice advertisements or URL affiliate links! Thanks for any feedback. Happy New Year.
Oh-by the way, my Live360, and GoDaddy radio website are suspended because I missed my payments and didn't watch it. I'm going to use the Law of Attraction to help bring in income as I had to quit my night-job to take care of my 90 year old mother and I have limited income now. I'm doing some other brain storming as well. It will be alright to renew my above mentioned website when I get the needed funds, and will have to rebuild my GoDaddy site-oh-well!
Yours Truly,
Willie Lee C

Oh, I forgot to tell you I am buying into this program, You become a TV station on the internet.
hey hi Willie -- what came to top of mind:
"How to ... -- these types of blogs do very well -- for instance, answer : " I would like to help people learn how to produce successful podcasts ..." (what are the steps, the requirements, etc.)
"Top 5 best (i.e. classical, rock 'n roll, jazz, or ..... ) music radio stations of 2017, 2018, of all time ..." lots to blog about there ...
You've got the background and experience to fulfill 'an authority niche!' .... gotta build narrow and deep on it ... did you catch Kyle's blog on this? .... here's a couple of info. blogs for your reading pleasure & hope you'll find some benefit --

AH-HA! Thanks. Was wondering about being a vocal coach for pay? Also doing a blog about radio personalities and old top 40 radio stations, like Charlie Tuna, Ugly Charlie, Wolfman Jack, and what were the stations they made famous.
Also, there are a lot of blogs on podcasting. I think I can fill the niche by addressing podcast and broadcasting equipment that is affordable and how to set up telephone equipment so an on-air talent can take calls and have the caller be on the air with the ait talent.
... it's endless! ... still - it's best to focus on one, get it done successfully and generating income, then move onto the next one ... it's too fragmented trying to do more than one ...
re: vocal coach -- if there's a following (reputation) then, they can do pretty well, however, it won't necessarily result in 'passive income' as your presence is required! .... i've taken a fair amount of voice and from different teachers/coaches so yes, I can comment on this ... and yes, this is more of an 'in-person' venture ... suggest this is a back-burner one for now ...
it's essential to get your list of priorities in order of importance and then get your action plan in place to move onward to success!
Thank again for your brilliant feedback! I believe you are right. Now to find the best and perfect niche that is radio related and my passion.
How about helping people teaching them how to set up a station, online (Internet) and over the air (transmitter) station and the pros and cons, FCC rules. Copyright protection licenses and business license and costs to get set up?
Willie,
With all the experience you have in this area,
I think that you should be able to build a website
around this niche with no problem. :)

Thanks, Marley2016 for your feedback, I think I'm onto my right niche now, it's a wide area, and it's hard to narrow it down.

I have an old classmate from high school who has a Facebook page talking about music from his days on radio - he's retired now.
Cool, Is he on "I was a DJ when DJs jockied discs... and I don't mean CDs". I'm a member of that Facebook group, and a lot of the on-air personalities of the group are retired. some are still active though. It's really a hoot to read their posts!
