Switching Gears - Lessons Learned
It was a year ago this month that I joined WA. And, like many of you, I was totally commited to do whatever it takes to succeed, so chose a niche and got right to work. With Kyle's step-by-step training I soon had a beautiful website to call my own.
But the other day, I had a "DUH!" moment that hit me like a ton of bricks. After spending hundreds and hundreds of hours on my site, I realized it was all WRONG.
Why didn't I get this in the beginning?!
Do I feel like I've wasted time? NOPE!
Do I wish I could get the last year back and be just that much farther along in a new niche? YEP!
Do I honestly think I was ready a year ago to do what I'm planning to do today? NOPE!
Do I feel 100% commited to my new plan of action? YEP!
Because I've learned valuable lessons about writing relevant content, setting and achieving goals, asking for help when I need it and taking the advice of people who have experienced the process, and doing the very best I can, I'm not gonna worry. Stressing over something out of my control is the waste of time.
#1 Lesson: I KNOW what I WANT and NEED from my online business.
My original niche is still a great idea and I'm sure I'll go back to it someday. Time to switch gears.
I am CERTAIN my decision will be rewarding (Evergreen), so off I go!
See ya at the top,
Tamara

Outstanding decision. Sail boats never get from Point A to Point B in a straight line. Keep on, keeping on!
Good for you!
A tough decision but sounds like a good one.
All the best to you!
