I'm a warrior!

My favorite Justice League character that I will compare myself and life journey to is "Wonder Woman". I really love her because she's sympathetic, attentive, highly ambitious and kind. The one thing that I really can relate to is that "Wonder Woman" tries to avoid conflict but if pressured she will engage in battle.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior.

I was raised in a protected and loving home with both of my parents. They were always in my ear about the evil that is out in the world and how I couldn't survive without the proper training that's required to make it out there. When I have gotten older I decided, before I was ready, to leave my home to live on my own. I thought I was prepared to combat the reality of my downfall that awaited me.

Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

To make a very long story short, I have encountered many battles in my life. I've been abused mentally, verbally, emotionally, and even physically. I had it tough and no matter what I've tried and done, it just wasn't enough. I had lost everything that made me happy and content in my life. I've caused all of that pain because I wasn't prepared to fight that battle on my own. I found myself fighting for my self-esteem, dignity, self-worth, and ambition.

I had nothing else in me as I've become so weak to even continue to live. I held my head low then fell to my knees in tears and that moment was the start of my journey to succeed. My battles had begun at that point and I will always be grateful to the one that was by my side every step of the way to encounter them. I became strong and learned to rumble against anyone that tried to break me down. I became persistent and resilient against the demise that was creeping into my life. Today, I'm not going to say the battle is won. I still have a long way to go but at least I'm still in the game.

To wrap this up, you see living is an everyday battle and the villainous one is out there. It's in the form of things, entities, Man and its job is to create havoc in your life. But, you can't fight this on your own, you need to find your Hero to help you become a Warrior. It takes strength, persistence, attitude and not giving up. You will always lose the battle if you give up because the opposition will be lurking around on your path and spying to plot on your dreams to succeed. You owe it to yourself to soon become your own Hero at the end.

Thank you GOD for helping me to develop our own Justice League. We make a great team!!

“You are stronger than you believe. You have greater powers than you know.”

—Antiope to Diana, Wonder Woman movie

Interesting Fact:

William Moulton Marston, who created Wonder Woman, also invented the lie detector test. Lie detector tests then appeared in early Wonder Woman stories, but more importantly, Wonder Woman’s Lasso of Truth was originally a kind of lie detector — it compels those trapped in it to tell the truth.

Thank you very much :-)

Great post. Very interesting to know the lie detector was invented by a comic book creator and not in a lab somewhere.
