A crawl, in this context, is a game that you play to boost your productivity. There are many crawls out there (most used for NaNoWriMo purposes), and this is one that I've created specifically for W.A. bloggers.

The following actions give you a certain number of points. As you complete each task (and you can repeat each one multiple times) you earn points. Tally up your points at the end of the day to see how you did. Then try to beat your score the following day!

Although this is playful and downright fun, it also has benefits. You'll be tracking data: how productive were you that day doing productive things for your site and your W.A. community? You can add tasks and assign them points - this crawl is flexible.

John Acuff says in Finished that data helps you understand your productivity and progress better than vague recollections, which can be tainted by your mood of the day. Having an objective assessment of your progress can show you how far you've come.
