Is This Possible With Getresponse?

I'm trying to figure out how to do something with Getresponse but I'm not having much luck at all. I've tried asking support but they told me it's not possible, however I may have not explained things very well via the live chat support.

I'm going to try ask support again but figured I'd ask here too.

This is what I want to do:

  1. Client inputs new customer details into a webform.
  2. Customer is then sent email #1 asking them to take a moment and leave some feedback on a recent purchase/service.
  3. If the customers does NOT click on the link inside email #1 two days later email #2 goes out asking for them to leave feedback. No click, then same process and email #3 goes out.

My problem is if a customer clicks on the link and checks out the feedback, I do not want email #2 or #3 sent out to them.

I know that I can check the analytics stats and see who opened, who clicked etc, but I need to automated this process.

Do you know if what I'm trying to achieve is possible or how can I make this work?

You should be able to, because basically if they click on the link they should be able to be opted out of the funnel where you ask them to leave the feedback. How to do it is another thing. Did you ever find out?

I use Zapier to coordinate my tasks including email. Here is the link. Can try it for free and see. https://zapier.com/how-it-works/
Hope this helps. ^_~

No Idea! Sorry. Try ask.com. May be able to find some help there.

sorry have not tried that one

Because of who you are, I know you will find a way to make this work, even if it takes a workaround. I hope the solution comes easy to you!

I am sorry I cannot help with this one beyond my knowledge I hope you find the answers you need

Hey Craig. I'm surprised that Get Response doesn't offer some form of conditional logic, other services do. Unfortunately, I've never used them so can't say whether the answer you got is definitive. Do they have a forum or a user group you could try?! R. x

Hi Rich, I was surprised too, didn't think about checking for a user group or forum. Just heading out, but will check on my return.
Thanks

Hi, I know what your stating is possible as I already do it with Aweber which is just another autoresponder. Sorry not sure how to do it with Getresponse as I have never used it. Good luck,
Rich

Thanks for replying Rich, I use Aweber too, but the clients are all setup within one account at Getresponse.

I was actually wondering about creating a redirect page, this way I could add my goal script before sending them to the feedback back.

That's a great idea, to be honest with you I would never have thought of that. Good luck.

Interesting question. I know there are membership site scripts that make this possible. The only way I know to do it in Getresponse is the old fashioned way - manually.

Thanks for replying, really don't want to do this the manual way, but it doesn't look I have many options.
I've just been talking with Getresponse support. Setting goals appears to be the only option, however I can't add code to the header area, so that doesn't help.

why can't you add code to header area?
