End of Phase 1
When I first started Wealthy Affiliate in 2012 with a starter membership, there was so much information, I didn't know where to start. I would start in one direction, and end up lost in another. So I put it on pause and started something else.
Well, this year in 2014, I decided to go ahead and get started in Premium monthly and see where that led. Something was different in my approach. This time, I went beyond where I was in Starter membership. I am more focused with STAYING ON TASK instead of branching off on a curiosity binge only to find myself lost and alone with my thoughts.
I have completed the first phase of setting up a niche website as an online home business. I have created a working website for creative artists and writers called Design Writer. My goal is to assist other people who don't want to spend thousands of dollars on an art or writing education to learn how to write and create graphic designs or literature.
I am pleased with the effort that I gave to my assignments, and I am excited to continue on with the second phase of my home business.
My goals for the next three months:
1. Continue creating good content
2. Creating good ranking online
3. Expecting money to flow in my direction
Goals for the Next Six Months
1. Better content for people
2. Better communication with WA community and others
3. Making more money than my part-time job (more than $11,000+)
When I realized what WA was teaching me, it was a revelation moment. I could feel the stress evaporate when I realized I was learning how to create good content first and then it would make it online. Suddenly, it seemed possible to make money online where before it seemed impossible.
I have learned a lot more than I thought about affiliate marketing. I thank everybody at WA for helping me get started. It really is a community that cares about others and wants to see other affiliate members succeed.

Thanks, masamir. That's the plan... to take this one step at a time. (However...hee hee...I can't help getting excited about being closer to making more money than my PT job so I can resign there and start full-time here). I have to remember to not get ahead of myself and KNOW in my gut when it's the right time to go FT with my online biz.
