I'm sure you guys have had this question hundreds of times before but should your first post be getting into the why of your actual website or just jump in to whatever you want
i would have your about me telling the story of your why you made the site to help your niche...
the first real post i would find a topic to help solve a problem in your niche...and move on from there...
and unless you haven't found it in the training - don't forget to add some categories to make it easier to navigate your site...
Thank you I appreciate the information and yes that making it easier to navigate my site makes a lot of sense that I had not thought of.

Does your first post need to be about getting into your niche or should it be about why you want to

For me, I started with the categories I'll be writing on to help people in my niche find what they need. My niche is affiliate marketing, meaning I'll be educating affiliate marketers while I suggest/promote for them the programs I personally use such as WA affiliate program and others.
Thus, my blog categories are based on the main branches/topics/needs of this business model: niche selection, affiliate programs, content creation, traffic generation, and tracking & optimization.
These are the very things we must all learn as affiliate marketers.
Blessings,
John
