Starting to Stretch Out

I've recently read some great posts about how to get some traction with new blog posts and have started to see more traffic. I've also joined some relevant groups on Facebook and, after posting for a while, posted a link to a new blog post that gave some great value. And people shared it!

I'm making sure not to be spammy by joining groups and then instantly asking people to look at my site. When you're just starting to get the word out, it's important to be part of a group before posting any links to your site. And make sure the groups are really relevant to your site's content.
