Writing REVIEWS about Scam on my WEBSITE, how protected am I against LAW SUITES from the companies that I writing ABOUT?

Your statements and reviews has to be backed up by evidence

What you write is your opinion Vusi. If you are writing factual content then you will have to provide proof of this to back it up.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. If you present it as such you will be just fine. But always make sure that you reference your material (websites, pages, and/or posts) at the bottom of your page that supports your opinion. This will not only protect your opinion, but allow you to gain trust for your site as well.

You have the right to free speech. But do not have the right to slander or libel anyone, including companies. You cannot assume facts not in evidence. As Marion states, "Don't imply that anything is a fact unless you can back it up with indisputable proof."

I agree with the comments below, it's your opinion and you have the right of free speech. I have read many reviews, good and bad,and don't belieive I have even seen anyone state "this is my opinion".

Every post that people share is and can recieve a negative comments or two. There are no amendment "Rights" when posting a website. Once we... they... whoever posts, the content can become scrutinized by ANYBODY. Webmasters should be open to recieve positive or negative feedback. People may or may not get offended. But once a review is posted whether bad or good, you shouldn't worry too much about law suits because there has to be an opposing factor in All things... I hope this helps!

In the USA it is the very 1st Amendment.
