WHEN ANIMALS ARE THIRSTY

Humans do not really understand what do it MEAN to be THIRSTY in an ANIMAL. When animals are grazing or hunting, they do not PLAN as to how far is FOOD from DRINK. You as Humans,we prepare or LUNCH with our Drink readily prepared next to our food. ANIMALS do not have WISDOM in most cases.

AS a result, when they begin to look for WATER it becomes a DESPERATE situation.

Did you notice on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC channel, what happens when Elephants come at the WATER HOLE. E very animal that might be drinking at that moment, they GIVE way. We always think its because Elephants are big and BULLY, thats why the get away with it. NO! that is because they are DESPERATE.

WHAT DO IMPALAS DO WHEN THEY GET TO THE water hole?

The water hole might be occupied with PREDATORS like CROCS. These BUCKS will go for the water, cautiously of course. You will find that the crocodiles do catch some IMPALA right IN-FRONT of the rest. ALL that you are going to see is, a temporary response. They all jump back and cautiously come back for water, until the THIRST is QUENCHED.

I used to think to myself, why don't these poor animals go away ,and look for water somewhere, where it is SAFE? They do not have that wisdom. MAY BE the next water hole is some 30KM AWAY . There is no more energy left to take that CHANCE. To them ,they have to DRINK or DIE of thirst IF they can leave ,without DRINKING. It is a DO or DIE situation always...

Cheers Folks
