Actually the four times entered might be just the way my visa program works online. I just saw a note saying sometimes things are in both "pending" and "actual".... so maybe that's not important??
I am trying to register as an affiliate but when I type in my siterubix url, it asks me for a valid url. I think my site is up and running. Is there something I'm doing wrong
You may find some affiliate programs don't accept subdomains but only own domains, you need to check with them to see if this is the issue.

Also, bear in mind that there's little point in advertising to no-one, you might want to wait before signing up to affiliate programs. You'll find many require you to have established your site and have some traffic, even those like Amazon who accept "barely there" sites, require you to make sales within 90 days.

When I started, I wondered if there was a "niche" for me. And now there's so many ideas bouncing around in my head. I really like the emphasis on providing value. I had found other affiliate program training online but there just seemed something sketchy about placing ads in front of target audiences and not really focusing on serving your audience but rather focusing on an efficient money funnel. It seemed a little cynical and I don't do cynical.
I like that here, the idea is to build a website with good content in a niche that you know about so that people coming to your site are actually helped.
My plan (as it is focusing in my mind), is to have about five websites eventually: One for WA (starting anew) - focusing on starting an online business in retirement to supplement retirement income - 'cause that's what I'm doing; Another for my niche (creative needlework); Eventually one about learning musical instruments/piano/harp; and one for encouragement in life which probably won't be monetized but could be - for example, if I wrote a book - it might be a a good platform to market it.... and then another, for a decluttering/organizational/budgeting niche - which obviously needs a little more focus..... and then one giving advice about caring for someone with demetia (probably not monetized...) ...
Is it o.k. to have some of the sites not monetized?
I know I need to focus.... but .... I am learning so much and loving it..... and now back to finishing the WA site set up ..... and take another course.... I feel a bit like an excited chipmunk with newly discovered stashes of sunflower seeds in several locations .....

I'd strongly recommend you focus on one site at first, in a niche you are truly passionate about, and don't even consider creating another site until that one is earning.
There are different ways to monetise a site, from advertising to affiliation, own products to email marketing, etc. However, there's no rule that says you have to monetise a site. :)
Thanks. I'm mostly focusing on the Creative Needlework site....but I've just about set up the Starting Anew site just so it's ready to go for promoting WA....
I have to do more training so that I can figure out how to add media to Creative Needlework. I really am more focused than I sound. I just know my brain isn't ready for the new training yet so I'm setting up the structure for the second site while things gel.
