Quality Traffic vs Quantity Traffic (What You Should be Focused on)
Quality traffic typically means less people visit your site (or other sources) but the value of each visitor is substantially way higher than if you had TONS of low quality visitors come to your site.
- I've had cases where 10,000s of low quality visits = a few dollars made
- I've had cases where a few dozen high quality visits = $100's made
The value of the visitor is typically higher than the number of visitors you get which is why I say focus primarily on the quality of the visitor first, then the quantity!

I prefer quality visits over quantity visits. In the long run, you can increase income potential.
This view may seem strange coming from an avid Google Adsense affiliate.
More visits should translate to more income. But, it doesn't work like that on my websites.
Those who value what I do return to support me over and over. So, quality visits mean more to me.

Thanx Vitaly. I have a soccer website that I am working on. Yes it has got a number of articles that are ranking well in search engines. But so far I have seen that there is a fluctuation in number of impressions and only 1 click when I look it on Site Kit. What could be the problem with my site??
This is normal for new websites. It takes a bit to see consistent traffic come in. Impressions always come up and down depending on topic interest so this is normal.
