The number of pins you make per board typically depends on the search volume of the keyword you're trying to get traffic from (in Pinterest). Here's a range I recommend aiming for:

If a keyword...

• Has <1,000 searches a month, your board should have 20 pins at least
• Has 1,000-10,000s a month, your board should ideally have at least 50 pins
• 100,000+ a month, your board should ideally have at least 100 pins
