What It Means To Be Indexed On Google

Getting on indexed on Google sounded exciting and curious to me but I wasn't sure what it meant so Googled it and this was the explanation I found:

Every WordPress post and page gets indexed. The process of putting web pages into Google Search is called indexing. When you use a meta tag Google will index your page. The tag will either be index or no-index, which will determine whether or not it will be added to the web search's index.

So, I suppose all our site pages will be indexed because we're using WordPress. Hope this helps all wondering about the index question.
