Progress Blog
Hmmm... OK. My progress so far is great! This is my 3rd week with WA and I have my own web site, my own domain, some good content in there and am on p.3 of Google and p.1 of Bing. Though I am still waiting to find out how many visitors I have had, I think that's pretty good. My goals for this site are to track visits to the site and hopefully make a little money while helping people learn about essential oils. After that, I am going to market WA and find something in Amazon as well so I can be an affiliate there, too.
Writing was a little hard at first-I think I was concentrating on making everything come out perfectly right from the start. After writing some pages, I discovered that if you just let your writing flow and then go back and tweak it later it doesn't seem so daunting. How's that for advice from a newbie?! :)

Very good advice! We say that all the time in my writers' group. People get very hung up about making something perfect the first time. It's better to write it offline, let it sit for a couple of days, and then go back to it. I also recommend reading it out loud to see if it sounds natural. That way, by the time you post it, it's all polished up and ready for prime time.
