How to Overcome Writers Block

Hi to all WA Rock Stars and I hope your week is going well for all of you.

I have seen a few members commenting on Writers Block and I hope to share some wee nuggets that will help you breakthrough.

NO.1 Don't through your Laptop out the nearest window in frustration.

No.2 Walk away from your work and do something else for 10 minutes

No.3 OK, You are now refreshed so let's look at what may be happening.

Are you passionate about your niche?

Are you researching other peoples articles?

Are you going to quora to see what people are asking about your niche?

Do you keep a journal for those moments when you have an idea?

If you are passionate about your niche, try to write as if you are sitting with a friend over tea/coffee telling them about the product or service you offer. When you talk with a friend, you share things easily because you trust your friend and you know they enjoy your conversation.

Write as you would if you were speaking to someone you know. Relax and be you and you word will flow a lot easier.

Do your research online about your chosen niche and you will find 1000000's of resources to use when writing.

Do not try to be perfect- No-one is perfect and this will quite often keep you stuck.

You are you an awesome individual with information to share with the world and if you write from your heart, in the same way you speak, you will find it so much easier to write.

Quora is a great place to frequent to see what questions are being asked and answered about your niche and can be of real value.

Having a journal is one of the best things to have with you at all times and whenever an idea pops into your head, write it down as it may just be useful down the track.

You may not be a great writer and you don't need to be. All you need to do is be yourself and add value to people's lives with what you offer and getting new ideas to write about doesn't have to be hard.

Lastly, when you go to Jaaxy to look for keywords, more often than not when I do this I come across keywords that lead to another post and I save these words to my list and keep searching until I have at least 10 keywords saved which in turn gives me more article subjects to write about.

I hope this helps and please don't beat yourself up. We all start somewhere and the more you write the easier ideas will flow into your mind and the more writing you can complete.
