I guess I will never live the dream.

I wrote a comment on sitecomments yesterday which i felt was written quite well, the person in the post even said he enjoyed reading our comments. So, i sent a comment. it got disapproved.

I am starting to feel misunderstood here, I am starting to feel like I am wasting my damn time.

My comment got disapproved, and I am quite hurt by this.

All I've wanted to do is live the dream and be understood in that. I guess i'm even misunderstood here, too.

I've been misunderstood my whole life, having to do with my aspergers and other things. I guess here we go with my aspergers getting in the way yet again. I guess it wants to prevent me from living the dream.

Having to make a tough decision. Should I leave or should I stay.

I've worked quite hard on my cooking site and I thought my metaphysical site was coming together. But, I guess it never will. None of it will.

So, my question to myself is, should i leave, or should I stay. Should i leave and resign myself to the fact that I'll always be poor and never live the dream.I guess that's what it's like for aspies. 80% of us are already unemployed because we have such difficulty. I'll forever be part of that 80%

You shouldn't get discouraged at all if someone doesn't like your comments. It just means they are too sensitive and can't take real criticism. But that's part of the growing process. I tend to give the harsher comments on layout and such things on the WA site comment blog, and then just give them some complements on what was good or interesting about the writing on their actual blog post. Regardless, this shouldn't affect your personal success. Create an e-book or quick guide on cooking tips or recipes and offer it for anyone who signs up to your email list. Establish a relationship with them by continuing to give them free tips. Then you can follow up with an affiliate promotion or link to your article. If you want to make money, then you need to understand how important it is to grow your email list and how marketing works. Especially if it's a tough niche to stick with or find affiliate promotions.

email lists have always been a sticking point for me. I get stuck on how to set them up and how to properly market through email.

If you sign up for any autoresponder email provider like Aweber, Convertkit, or Mailerlite they will send you free resources on how to set it up. Aweber has free video training modules for how to set it up, even on their free trial. Mailerlite is constantly sending me free e-books or video emails that show me new features and new templates that are easy to use. If you sign up to any provider and give them your email, you basically sign up to their autoresponder that will welcome you and continue to encourage you on how to set it up. They don't succeed unless you succeed.

Well, here's the brutal truth. If you give up, you will never see success. As for your aspergers, people can learn to understand you better if you keep at it and you have a kind, generous personality. My advice is to stick with it as long as you can. - Shirley

I have gotten disapproved in the past too and people have left quite rude comments on why they disapproved me, although I thought I was doing a good job. From the comments below, it looks like you may have gotten disapproved because of your reference to the writing.

I know its hard but it's best to keep your comment based on the product itself, what you like, what you don't like, maybe your doubts and concerns on using the product, or even relating your experiences with the product. Sometimes, I even find loopholes and ask questions. These are the comments, I learned, that will always get approved. :)

I hope this helped. And don't worry! There are days when we ALL feel like quitting, but that will get us nowhere, but back to the miserable lifestyle we had previously. The only way to change it, is to go forward and learn from our mistakes. Use these experiences as stepping stones and SHOW yourself that you can do better... :)

thanks for that mate. I realize now why I got disapproved and it was an oopsy on my part. my boyfriend is great and supportive and he helped explain it in terms i could understand. He also has aspergers so is able to speak my language so to speak. I will keep the tips in mind and thank you also for explaining it in a way I can process.

Any time Lisa.. :) Any questions or doubts that you may have, feel free to PM me. I am always happy to help out.. :)

If your comment was written like a feedback then it will be disapproved. Don't sweat it. I have been here almost three years and got disapproved on comments when I first started. Then I had my ability to leave comments disaproved. Just make sure you comment on the post on what you like about the product or service and not what you think of the writing or website in general. Sorry that happened and hope that helps.

that may have been why I got disapproved, I did make a comment about typos and i didn't know you weren't supposed to do that.

Exactly what happened. Don't take it personal. It happens to more people than you know. Just move forward and let it go. Remember to comment just about the product or service and what you liked about it. Best
