September is going to be -hectic- and my plan of attack!
Just a little background on myself. I'm a mother of two young boys, ages 2 and 17 months, a nursing student, I -just- finished my course in Digital Media and Design, and I work part-time. However, that is changing because I got a job (YAY!) at one of the best hospitals in my area (Double YAY!), and will start there in September. So, to say that my plate is full right now, is a gross understatement.
I wrote in my previous post about getting myself organized and getting all of my 'to-do's' down on a list. Well, that list is super long! I didn't realize just how many things I had shoved onto the back-burner. Thankfully, with my digital media class done, being on break (for a short while) in my nursing program, and the short lull between jobs, I will have a bit of time to take care of some of the things on my list.
I've started to use Trello to help me organize my thoughts about my website (and possible future websites). So far, it's been pretty useful. Basically, it's sort of like a virtual stick-it note board that allows you to put 'cards' up that can contain pretty much anything. It gives you the option to just use it for text, set due dates (that you can sync to a google calendar!), create a checklist and a lot of other fun tools. I've been using it to plan out my future posts and keep track of my keyword lists. It's been a super efficient tool for me to use since all my notes and thoughts are all visible at a glance, in one space,
Let's hope that this will give me an upper hand in getting all my ducks in a row once September starts.
Pray for me ya'll

Wow! You're amazing!
I'm glad you figured out a way of organizing your to-do list.
Having so many responsibilities it's really important you do.
Prioritizing is key in this process. At least that's how I deal with my to-do's and thank God I've been handling them well.
I'm definitely going to try Trello. It may work for me, too...
Thanks for the great post and good luck with the new job!
You are absolutely correct about having to be organized. So much stress can be avoided if you take the time to plan, schedule, and prioritize.
Great post, thanks for sharing. I wish you nothing but success in your journey here at WA, as well as the other important duties you have as a mother and student!
I've heard good things of Trello before, but haven't used it quite yet. I use a combination of other tools (e.g. Google Drive, Evernote, other apps),but love to try out new techniques so I think I'll give Trello a run. Thanks for suggesting and go be successful!
Best,
Jabril
Thank you! I use google drive as well, but I like the inter-activeness of Trello way more. So much that I think I might invest in it a little more and use it in other areas of my life (like school... and all things Mothering :) )
WOW!!! You really do have your hands full. Thank goodness you have a tool to help keep you organized. I wish you all the best and I'm sure you'll make it through.
Blessings,
Debby
I came to think of this quote :)
"If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The more things you do, the more you can do."
Hi, Laverne looks like you are getting sorted Trello is really helpful for getting organized September is almost here you will do well, all the best.
It is incredibly helpful. I like that I can put my thoughts down, make checklists for the things I have to do or people I have to contact. I'd recommend this site to anyone.
