My Favorite Highschool Teacher: Mr. Evans
I just found out that one of my favorite high school teachers passed away recently. Mr. Evans was a great teacher who taught personal and social responsibility. He made us laugh every day and kept class interesting. Years ago I was working as a door-to-door salesperson. I knocked on his door and he invited me into his house and we had a great conversation. He hadn't changed, even after all of those years. He was still the upbeat positive person that I knew in high school. Reading all of the comments on our high school Facebook page shows me that he touched so many of his students' lives. May he RIP.

Condolences for your loss! His talents were memorable as he shared a part of himself. People today are not the same. The goodness he displayed gave his students a different view of what education should be all about.

I've had that happen before with a mentor or two. It is sad and surreal, but I always remember each fondly, Patrice! Thanks for sharing!

Holding on to great memories is what helps a lot.
It certainly does, Patrice! 😎
