Progress Update: My First Week At Wealthy Affiliate

Well, it has been a week now since I joined Wealthy Affiliate so I thought I would create a progress update of my activity so far. I joined with the Starter Membership on June 30 and went Premium July 1st.

I went through all the Get Started Training Courses and the Affiliate Bootcamp. I admit I checked off all the tasks even though I haven't officially completed them. But I do have a running task list of what I still need to do saved in my Evernote that I can refer to on those things yet to be done.

I have my niche and created my website and even purchased the domain. I created a few pages such as the Affiliate Disclosure, Privacy Policy, the About Me, and a couple others related to my niche. I also created a couple blog posts my first weekend which received 10 comments so far from this fantastic community.

The website got indexed 4 days after it was created so I am super excited about that. I received so much positive feedback as well as some helpful criticism for improvement which I have taken notes on as well so I can make those changes.

As I write this, I gained 64 followers this week and my rank is 5997. I am having such a blast meeting everyone and am truly excited about what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer and how it will help me succeed in the future. This is an amazing community and I want to thank everyone who has helped and supported me so far.

I write for clients Sundays through Thursdays so I only have a couple of days to do the bulk work on my website but I do keep up with community activity during the week. Right now, I have a blog post in draft and plan to work on feedback changes and some of the tasks I haven't completed yet. I'll fill you all in on that next Friday. Hopefully if I keep doing these updates it will keep me accountable and motivated to keep plugging away. Anyway, thank you all again for being such amazing people and let's go make some cash! :)
