Making money with a free website? Go figure! Well, it happened to me. There are numerous blogs on here that encourages the utilization of the free websites available here at Wealthy Affiliate, to make money online. But I think I'm still in a little bit of shock that it actually happened. I've used free websites before but just to experiment with the themes and such and I'd just delete them after.
But one Saturday morning an idea for new site popped into my head. I thought the idea was an interesting one, so I did some research using Jaaxy. Well, the results were good, so I went for it. Even so, I still wasn't sure if I wanted to take it seriously, since it meant research and all that drama. In addition to which, it's not a topic I am overly familiar with and I wasn't sure about the direction I wanted to take the site.
Anyway, that same day I did an article for it. Then I did two more articles. So on this free website, there are just three (3) articles; one written in July, one in August, and one in September. Sounds ridiculous right?!

One of the articles has a video on it and I just recently (like two Fridays ago), added it to Bing. But that's about it. It does not have a Facebook Fan Page or anything. All that's there on this site, are the three articles, one video, and some Amazon links. That's it.
So a couple days ago, I thought I'd check out my Amazon account to see if anything was happening. Lo and behold, there was a sale for the very same product that the site is about. I was totally surprised! But it just goes to show, that you CAN make money with a free website.
