I'd like to expand on a couple things. A Facebook page is not a website. Build a website and gain traffic by pushing people from social media to your site.

That is awesome definitely a great way to help your brand.It is such a huge industry , it is great to come across little gems.Just starting to look at facebook from the marketing perspective and agree with your coments in the post.Sort of get the feeling that everything is changing so rapidly and that you need to keep up or get left behind. Hey Sherry thank you very much for this resource. I loved what i listened to and took notes. I also have a question from the interview. You mentioned family fitness month in January. Is that a good time for any blog to target social media with what you recommended in the form of fitness advice and meal recipes.
Also is it a good idea to have a calendar of seasonal events and special months and target those on social media with relevant tips and advice.
Even if it has nothing to do with your website. I hope i explained myself well. Also i'm not sure if your in the USA, i'm not so i don't know about special monthly events in that country and should i still target them.
I keep a calendar for this very purpose. Like in the U.S. August National Immunization Awareness Month. I am not sure what your site is about, but for the Auto Group that I work for, I will put out a notice in the blog. Write an article about it and push it through social.
