Thanks but this training was for doing redirects of articles within the same site. Can I use this plugin to transfer old posts to a new website ?
Yes, you can. Are you using All In One SEO? If yes, you can use the All In One SEO File Editor that’s in the Feature Manager instead of using that plugin.
To do that, you have to activate the File Editor first. Then, go to All In One SEO – File Editor - .htaccess. The process is the same like what Nathaniel showed. Don’t forget to click Update .htaccess.

I changed my domain name a couple weeks ago and was wondering is that enough time for the propagation to be finished ? And do the search engines consider my old site as duplica
OH yea, domain propagation is typically about 4-12 hours in the continental United States. Full global propagation within 24 to 48 hours.
Now, here's the thing IF you changed from a SiteRubix website to your own domain name, no problem. There are built-in pointers to take your old links to your new ones.
But, if you had your own domain name already and changed that to a new one, I would totally remove the old documents and also remove the URLs from Google's Search Console.
See this training here:

Hope this helps!
