Hi! My fellow WA supporting souls and helping hands, Good morning and I am ready to roll and move on the adventure of E-marketing under the wings of WA Community University.

Here I have a question to ask about how to write an E-book, which was posted as a question but I thought it would be useful so to gain a wider attention inside WA community. Hopefully, more ideas and suggestions could be incited to share more and quicker, and the story follows:

Over the past 2 weeks, I have been wondering and asking our WA members about How to Write an E-Book with any available plugin or app inside the WP platform under WA structure, but thus far I have not received any specific instructions or suggestions yet.

To make create an E-Book possible, an idea sudden shows up to my mind while taking a routine morning waking-up shower. Here I would like to reveal such idea and see how you may think of it. Of course, I would not care if you agree and prove it or just give me a big laugh-off.

Here comes the idea: I may begin writing an E-Book on any subjects I want and need, but I would not attach any attributes like tags to an E-Book but keep and hide it as an post of my site. Then, if someone clicks on it, and the E-Book will show up for the visitors to read or download. Does this sound doable and logic? If yes, share your concurrence; if not, help me with some better ideas to follow.

I do appreciate your supporting soul and hands so I can roll and move on.

Thanks-a-Million! Have a wonderful day ahead.

James

Hi, James.
I thought you were going to tell me how to write the book, but I think that is pretty individual to each person's writing style.

I really don't know much about websites that are as far along as yours is with the e-store and everything, but I like your idea. I have no idea how you would do it, but I'm sure some of the community would know.

If I understand your idea correctly, you would write a post that had a link to your e-book (possibly at the end of the post)?

Example of my thinking: "If you enjoyed this article and would like more information, click here", then when they click, the button to get the e-book would appear? Or would it pop up without them having to do anything else?

Either way, it sounds like a good idea to me that should work. I think I've gotten some emails that have videos to sell this or that, that do it like you suggested at the end of the video. They always say, "But wait, there's more!"

Let us know what you decide to do. Inquiring minds want to know! Maybe another post to let us know how you ended up doing it and what results you have received from it?

Wishing you success with your idea.

Carol

Hi James,

I don't know if this would be helpful to you, but I asked this question a while back and did receive some helpful answers. Perhaps at the very least it will send you in a direction to more relevant information.

Good Luck with your E-Book!

Hi James,
If you want to create a free ebook that your readers can download, you can use Canva to do that. It's a great tool that's easy to work with. Create a document and convert it to a pdf that visitors can download. If you want to see an overview of how it works, go to Youtube and search on "Create an Ebook." There are several tutorials that walk you through the process using Canva. I hope this helps.

Canva is great!

I know and I agree!

It is a good idea, but why going so complicated. Why don't you use the blogs you have done and create an ebook with your blogs. The ebook can grow with your blogs. You can use an Opt-in page to gather the emails.
Cheers Sylvia
