TGIF has changed for me

One of my favorite mantras in life is, "The worst thing you can be is just like everyone else". I've used this mantra as motivation over the years as I've tried many approaches to breaking myself out of the 9-5 life. I've always thought it a sad mentality, TGIF, because it is an admission that you are just like everyone else. Trudging along during your week just looking forward to Friday and a couple of days off before you do it again. My mission in life has been to not work 9-5, eager for weekends to drink and relax, just to do it again as I wait until I'm 65 to retire and wait to die. I have pursued many ventures to ensure this is not a reality for me but here I sit on Friday, working 9-5 and happy to see Friday. However, for the first time, thanks to Wealthy Affiliate, I am looking back on my week with excitement about all I have accomplished building my business and anticipating all the extra time the weekend affords me to continue. No more bourbon and television during the last two hours of my night. It has transformed my attention into building content and developing strategy for my website and social presence. I've changed who I am to become who I want to be! Today, TGIF, has a new meaning for me. Thanks Wealthy Affiliate=) Brian
