I Just did it!
I just did it!
I took the action that will lead to all my dreams and desires coming true. I have worked in Clean room manufacturing for years. 3 days one week and 4 days the next. We worked 12 hour shifts. Never seeing family and friends in any meaningful way.
I became so burned out of never being home or awake I walked away in 2017 after completing my Associate degree in Computer Networking. I loved working with technology and helping people. So this move felt correct at the time. My first new job was going to be so much better I thought. I was wrong.
Working from home for a tech based call center, is like being tied to your bedroom floor. Where was the happy ever after I had imaged? I was awake, at home, and still a prisoner. 2 years have pasted since I walked away from the clean room, 3 years since completing my degree.
I understand the rules now.
You have to take action. No matter how scary it is. It's worth it! I am currently a freelancer living pay check to paycheck. I'm in debt with over $40k worth of bills. Despite these facts I understand a far more important truth.
Taking Action - Any action and working hard towards a goal changes your fate.
One year from now...
I won't be broke, or in debt as badly, or wondering how I will support my family while maintaining my freedom.
Thank you WA. You are playing a part in my dreams coming true.

I am sorry to hear your education did not accomplish what you expected it to, but you are on the right path now and you are not alone you have all of us right by your side
Jeff
Jeff your very kind. However, I feel the exact opposite way.
I hate corporate America. I don't like the US-based call center culture.
I love freelancing (tech support, Front Dev, copy-writing - teaching English online - helping people)!
I really feel like WA came along to combine all my new found skills and experiences into a real cohesive business model!
You like the same things I do! I'm also a freelancer, teach English online, translate and now started with affiliate marketing here (3 months ago). So I wish us both luck!
Morayo, this is awesome! I know what it's like to be away from your family for 'work' that barely keeps food on the table. You have an awesome attitude and the determination that you need to become very successful!
I have no doubt that you'll be exactly where you want to be in a year! Remember to keep us posted with each progress!
I am sure most of the members here at WA have at least some fear of failing, but that is natural and if you stay focused help is always nearby from other members
Never Give Up
Jeff
Haze thank you! I was telling someone that WA is the cohesive force I have been searching for. I love the energy of this group and all the possibilities online.
I can't wait to get to know all of you better. I'm following you!

Morayo, thanks for sharing your story. You've made the first step to your dream future. The most important one! You are definitely in the best place full of supportive people and lots of information. All you need (as well as I do) is patience and persistence. We will get there!
