Read time on my articles
One of my success over the last two months was seeing the average reading time for my articles hover at the 4 minute mark. This means people are reading the the full article.
Before this, the average reading time was less than a minute. This bothered me immensely. To improve my writing I enrolled in two free LinkedIn learning writing courses. This took up three days and a copious amount of notes.
I applied the the lessons and the reading times on my articles has increased as a consequence. What is interesting is that with the increase in reading time the traffic to my website has also shown an increase.

My experience is that Google loves it when visitors spend lots of time on your site. Though you may not have as many visitors as other sites at first, once Google sees that people like your content, you will be offered in the SERPS regularly and usually at a higher position than you might otherwise have experienced. Congrats on that!
