Money For Nothing And My Traffic For Free
I usually just scrap this sort of junk because I already know what's inside. It looks something like this.
I had to laugh when I saw this but I clicked the link mostly just for a laugh. The first 10 min of the video was some woman telling me how this was not a get rich quick scheme. How she was making millions of dollars with her "revolutionary new free traffic getting method". Now she was not talking about "another fake money making get rich quick scheme" she was talking about a real "legit and proven method for free traffic!"
During this side splitting display I got to see several photo shopped examples of her millions of Click Bank dollars and her 1.2 million "just sitting there in her Paypal account" She had so many different accounts with 10s of thousands and Millions of dollars... just curious but does anyone have all these accounts. I mean I only have one Paypal account and one back account myself.
After assuring me 25 or 30 times that this was not a scam she started to tell me how she was a poor college student stocking shelves to pay her way through college just one year ago and how she started to get really excited when she searched for "Make Money Online" and how she maxed out her credit cards and bought every single program on the internet "you name it she tried it" therefor she knows everything there is to know about traffic.
Whatever you get the point. It was a pathetic attempt to sell me some BS get rich quick scheme.
Look this is the difference between WA and get rich quick. WA teaches you the skills you need to get out there and build and market your website. They charge what a buck a day for this education along with unlimited hosting, unlimited keyword tool usage and of course all the support you gain from the community including help from Kyle and Carson directly. I see Kyle in live chat every day where anyone even free members can hit him up for advice and pointers.
There is NO SUCH THING AS FREE TRAFFIC! You either pay cash or you invest time writing and ranking material to get traffic either way it cost you something. There is no easy road to success. If you want to succeed you have to work!!!
Anyone telling you anything else is full of crap!

Very nice read by the way, I saw one myself this morning talking about free traffic but when I went to the page, on top right corner it said starting @ $1. I knew straight away it was a scam. By the way that "browse for image" button is still not working Kyle!
free traffic! only $19.95! LOL I get a new scam in my email every day or so. I never pay much attention because I know who's email list I'm on and which ones are just spamming me but it sure is annoying isn't it.
You lost me on the brows for image thing part tho.

Thanks Ty for crushing my dreams.. I thought there was some free trafftic out there lol. But good write up. I will admit they try to play on all your emotional strings in their webinars to entice you to buy on the spot. I know, I was victim to it alot. The funniest part is when I started learning internet marketing, WA was my first place. *shrugs* they say things happen for a valid reason, and me reading this post...happens to be one of them ;D
Sorry I hate to be the one to crush your dreams lol. I used to be a salesman and they always teach you to try and close the sale but where i worked we were not asked or encouraged to use underhanded tactics to trick people into buying. We were taught to demo our very high quality products which was windows, doors, patio covers and other home improvement products and use honest sales tactics to close.
Selling quality products was enough to make me a handsome living, and i was not above telling people if I didn't think they could benefit from what I offered. I never sold anyone anything that I felt uneasy about.
These people with their GRQ crap don't care who they hurt, who the victomize, or how they have to make you feel to get you to buy. They give sales people and IMers a bad name
If I had a dollar as the saying goes---free traffic---I used to be in the I click you---you click me---and then put this on---and they will flock---upgrade to this and you will have traffic smoking your PC before sun up--it's been going on since IM'ing started--the really sad part is the people who buy into these things don't really have the money to spend.
That's what makes so mad about it. They know their praying on people who are in real need and don't have a huge bank roll and can't afford top spend money on things that are designed just to rip people off.
oh I saw one the other day that actually started with "the man who lived in the van down by the river! I mean REALLY? this is good for the newb to read. Good on you for bringing light to it, some of the stuff out there is a complete waste and take attention away from quality:)
I loved the man in the van down by the river skit lol but starting a get rich quick video with that is just stupid. It goes to show that will people will stoop to anything in order to sucker people into buying their junk.
Almost every product out there is laughable when you know what you know Ty. Traffic can be created for free, but as you said it will take work and effort on your part...and the only time it doesn't not require much work, is when you have a brand behind you (which requires the initial work).
That's true that's why it's easier to rank when I write on WA or on SA. I just hate seeing people get sucked into that junk and I guess most of us have fallen victim to their underhanded marketing and poor quality products at one time or another, I guess that's why it makes me so mad.
Trust me, this is something that has frustrated us for years. It has been our mission to help people get past this and get past the idea of INSTANT success. It is just not realistic (unless you read my 5 ways to 7 day retirement lol). Ty, you are definitely one of the good guys out there and I will continue to back anyone that calls out a blatant scam.
I would say you guys are accomplishing that mission very well. I'm trying to go with the lottery option as far as retiring in 7 days goes. I guess if I bought a ticket I would increase my chances huh lol.
You are Carson are good guys too and I will continue to support WA and do my best to share with people the benefit of what I have experienced since becoming a member.
I have had a lot to overcome this past year. Dealing with my business and my health have hindered my progress considerably but even at that I have seen results from my education here and I know that once I get all this health stuff behind me where I can work again every day I will continue to grow that progress and my success.
Each and every day is a new day to grow and learn new things. You have come a long ways in the last year alone. I think if you sit down and look what you have accomplished and the knowledge you have developed you will quickly realize this. I still remember one of your first ventures being the Filipino cooking site.
Onwards and upwards buddy!
Filipino Recipes Nook still gets around 1000 unique per month. My wife wants to work that site with videos and all that but we have to get her the camera equipment set up and the time to actually do it. She is a very busy woman but we are making changes around here a little at a time so I figure next year at some point she we will have everything in place and the time for her to work it. That's a popular site considering I only have 10 recipes on the site and have not added anything since about Feb 2012 =)
Get some videos on there and get her actively working on the Filipino recipe niche and before long I am sure you could get the site up to 10,000 uniques per day and gaining some your wife gaining some serious authority in the niche!

Oh yeah it's still here and i have no doubt she can do it. Just have to get thing in order first. I can't wait to see that site grow into something great, it was the very first site I built after all =)
Most people don't realize the ride they just got on when they hit the buy button with all the upsells and downsells.... Amazing how something "truly revolutionary" gets released every single day.
I don't know how people justify writing their salesletters/video salesletter knowing that what they're selling isn't that revolutionary and they saying it is. Only thing I can think of is they justify it saying that it's not really lying it's "copywriting".
I don't know how they sleep at night knowing their ripping people off, mostly people who have very little income and can't afford to spend money on crap that does not deliver.
I mean if it was real why don't they have a place where people can make comments/ Every thing I have ever bought that was good had a place for me to leave a comment to express my appreciation.

I cracked up all the way through that video..well I didn't finish but the part I watched was quite entertaining.
the sad part is a lot of people who can't afford it buy into that kind of nonsense every day. They get ripped off and then when they find a real opportunity like WA they are so jaded they wont give it a chance.
The people that do those types of ads, tarnish the business of Internet Marketing/Affiliate Marketing. I am amazed
I agree they really give the real marketers that are trying to connect people with the products that are right for them a bad name.

Be very careful anytime someone is talking about making millions with 3 easy steps or if someone tells you 15 or 20 times that it's not a get rich quick scheme. It's easy to get suckered into these things because they play on your emotions and your very real need but traffic is not created by marketers it's created naturally when someone sits down and searches for something. As a marketer you are trying to present yourself to people who are already searching for what you're looking for.
