I found myself stumbling onto WA because I refuse to dedicate "the next 20-30 years of {my} life" to "the man." I believe that I am worth more than the limits that "the man" places on my earning potential and my position in financial ranks, and/or stature, in this world of business.
Before I became an Entrepreneur, I held other "just over broke's" (jobs), but most recently I was a mail carrier.... (not for me). It took me getting injured on the job to realize that though it was a decent job (to some extent), I was worth wayyyy more and had the potential to do better than being placed in a fish tank routine of a job. I have a mind that can create a more lucrative avenue for financial stability and prosperity that will result in better quality of life.
Yes there are things that are mandatory and essential to maintaining your lifestyle at bare minimum; but I refuse to settle for BARE MINIMUM!!!
I am a new mom of two adorable twin toddlers and a single mom at that... so trust me I understand the importance of maintaining lifestyle and key essentials to run a household. Though I have not reached the finish line, (or by any means approached it) I AM successful because I have attained something even more valuable; I KNOW MY SELF WORTH!!! I know that having a balance in work and family will allow me to actually watch and guide my children as they grow up rather watching their life (and mine) fly by and not know where the time went.
I refuse to slave for something I don't believe in and then be too old and tired to enjoy what I have accomplished or my kids.
I plan to get married and enjoy my life w/ a partner and my family and such. What I DO NOT plan on doing is having "THE MAN" profit off of ALL "my" potential while I resort to bottom feeding!!!!

I joined WA under Eddy as well Taisha! I find him to be truly inspirational by the fact that he has made a very successful living for himself and his family through his online business. How you articulated your thoughts based on Eddy's philosophy about working for "the man" were spot on!
I wish you nothing but success in whatever you do - business, family, etc. Whatever guy is lucky enough to become your husband would be getting himself an amazing partner!
