Just Started on The Road to Somewhere!

Ah yes, "Let's Build The Future Together!". Sometimes the road may get rocky but the way to soften the bounce is to have good shocks!

Isn't it about the ride sometimes? This has been a lot of up and down on the psyche getting started. But it is only because I stray off the smooth road and end up wondering down that rocky road of doubt and confusion. Putting a lot of pressure where there should be none.

Much is to be told in that I really had no idea what to do or how to do. That is why I ended up here at Wealthy Affiliate. I truly believe it was a guided journey. Though, the stubborn know it all arises at times.

Tossed To and Fro!

I was trying to find a way to learn to write content. Reading what I could. While the whole time not knowing what I was even really looking for. There is a lot out there on this and a raging storm of waves to take you here and there.

To and fro in the waves of advice, if you will, is the answer to "whence comest thou?" In a lot of knowledge I was not able to get started with. A sea of advice, only to get down toward the end and see another bit of advice to pay for. So I could get started above what most content writers could because of the knowledge being shared, hmm paid for.

I found myself frustrated to see this same thing I wanted to learn being wrote to me in a way to help me learn how to do exactly that. Sell, sell, sell! With the deception and even some lies along the way. I mean is Rosie really every one's Aunt. As they say on Sunday, "Come'on Man!"

Then I came across a little well written e-book. The Beginner's Affiliate Marketing Blueprint. This got me interested in following where this guy was going. It was not the earning money fast that attracted me it was the getting started for free. I don't know, the approach was just different in some way.

But, the skepticism radar was already high. I went forward reading expecting to see the same ole' writers content that I wanted to learn to do. But it was different this time.

That is what I wanted to do. Write in an honest and truthful manner anyway, And once again expecting to see it being written to me in a way to sell me something. Yes, something that will help me be a writer of content above the rest because, of whatever they wanted to share that the others must not be doing.

Not This Time, It's Truly Different!

Well, to my surprise! It was not another one of those, No it was not this time another read further and further, to get a chance to buy. That is how to get more info on how to have what I can share, but will not, until you join in by buying whatever I am selling you. No, this time it was different.

I found an e-book by a fellow named Alex M. Well, he happens to be a member of the Wealthy Affiliate community and now my Coach. He is the Sponsored Coach I would say because he actually gave out information that lead me here and didn't try to sell me anything. And he has returned answers to my questions. Not in a way to sell me anything. But just to suggest, encourage, advise and get me to think. By asking myself questions and such!

See this site and community is set up so you can learn, and yes it costs to go premium, But you have that same learning to get started for free. Absolutely Free! And I am thankful for Alex coaching and not selling me but helping me find this site. Opening a door so to speak.

I truly believe in my faith and that this has been a guided journey. From the waves of advice and knowledge being tossed to and fro to an actual guided start to writing with a structure toward success.

Finally, Found!

Finally, I found what I didn't know I was looking for. Even though, I still have to do the foot work of searching, thinking it out, organizing what I decide to write on and about.

It is really all structured for us right here. If only the stubborn know it all, will be laid aside. Progress can be made in a much more efficient and expedient way.

See, I have gone off the path because I had studied some things and read a lot of advice. So, as I go about the program I find myself trying to get ahead and when I do this, because I think I know something now, I find the rough road of confusion and then doubt tries to set in.

I go off to research my keywords and write some ideals and suggestions down. Only to find myself thinking "Oh, well I need to get an Affiliate while I am here. So I can direct people to somewhere to act.". This has slowed my growth in the program while taking myself off track from where I was at in the program.

No Need to Reinvent the Wheel!

That is when the straying off the narrow path begins. See, While doing one thing such as research I may try to think ahead for time sake and to work smarter not harder. All great sounding advice given in the past that usually works fine while in the labor field or an office team work setting.

But, not so much here at Wealthy Affiliate. At least in the sense I am discussing it in. Though, I may not be a writer at all I am here to learn from those that have. And at a reasonable charge to begin with. Now I am reminded of a song I am working on. It says this

Yes, it is good to think ahead and work smarter, That is really true in every aspect of life in this fast pace, overwhelming to the sense's environment we find ourselves in these days.

But, when the map work has been done already there is really no need to try to do it my way no more. It is already a successful road laid out in front of us. All we need to do is travel it. No, I have not made any money, as of yet. Though, I have confidence that the ideal on how to do just that is right in front of me.

Emulation is That Road!

Alright, if you have, after understanding it all. The very conceptual idea on how to improve upon something then by all means do it.

If you find your vehicle no longer is handling the rocky road and you know absolutely your shocks are good. Then it maybe you need a different kind of shock for your vehicle.

I found that shock to smooth the ride right here at Wealthy Affiliate. To help absorb the bumpy road I seem to find again and again to travel. I am now finishing up on the Level 2 and as such I am writing this article.

Although, I hope this actually helps the someone new with staying on track and not straying off to invent the wheel. This wheel is rolling down that smooth road we all was looking for when we stumbled upon it from the rocky road.

So, let's remember what the successful people do. So we can all truly know what "Let's Build the Future Together!" can really mean.

1: Aspiration-- setting clear cut goals. Here at Wealthy Affiliate you lay out realistic and clear goals in the beginning. So you should know You already have this trait!

2: Drive--- You followed whatever the road you was on to right here. All for one reason to attain your goals for your life. You came this far so guess what, You already have this trait!

3: Willingness to Learn-- Immersing one's self in knowledge. You have taken the step and are now doing just that so guess what, You already have this trait!

4: Patience- a willingness to pace the journey while staying focused on the ultimate goal. If you have made it this far into my little article then guess what, You have this trait!

5: Discipline-- stay true to your desire by being consistent in your effort. You kept searching until you found this community so guess what, You have this trait!

A Final Thought!

I have learned to stay to the smooth road. It may not be easy for myself, but I hope you can learn from my mistake. I wandered off the path several times. But, the discipline to stay with the program the way it is laid out. Is to understand that those who have gone before us have worked out the bumps so the path can be smoother for us, than it was for them.

Truly, "No need to reinvent the wheel". Just disciplining ourselves to stay on track with the patience in a total surrendering. That one must lay aside what they think they know to take hold of what they need to know.

Have a willingness to learn that the drive can be patterned after those who have been there and staying on the road less traveled

to achieve what they have already achieved. Therefore, fulfilling the aspiration of success we all came here to achieve. That we all may work in a way to say " Let's Build the Future Together!.

For there is something to be said about a set plan laid out before you. I understand it seems to drag out or seems like at times you are not moving fast enough but in the long span of things it is laid out to help us grow in understanding it as we go along.

With the help of those in a community so there is some emphasis on working within the community. As a design to help in our growth of writing content and building a solid website that gets ranked as a top tier site.

Out of the 5 traits of successful people the patience and discipline seem to be the hardest to hold onto. But we have already seen that You have those traits. So, whatever negative thoughts or discouraging doubts that try to keep you away from the goals you have set.

Let them melt away with confidence you have found the right shock for the ride you have taken and are going to enjoy. Stay positive and look forward emulating those that went before you. So, staying focused on the task at hand is important. No need to add to it or take away from it.

I hope this helps someone with this journey. Remember this is not a sprint but a marathon as we were told upfront which is encouraging. It says a lot about Wealthy Affiliate to not try to fool anyone into thinking otherwise. Let those kinds of positive thoughts help us stay on track and focused in a more relaxed way.
