Switching Domain from Godaddy to WA
So, I got a little frustrated switching a domain from Godaddy to WA...
The process is simple enough, but of course Godaddy has a double, or really, a triple confirmation process.
One is getting the code emailed and then going to paste that code into WA... simple enough.
Two is confirming the switch by email from Godaddy...
And I thought I was on my way!
But Three, they didn't email any notification or indicate in the instruction, that you actually have to log into Godaddy after confirming by email, and confirm and activate the transfer again from the account domain settings.
It cost me 5 days of productivity... lol

Did you seek out our site support? Bluehost made it a little hard to transfer one, but Site support assisted and done in less than 48 hrs.
Yes! They were very helpful and answered all my questions... which got me back to Godaddy and figure it out. WA support was great!! Thanks
I had trouble with this over a year ago. In the end I gave up. Personally I believe GoDaddy do this deliberately . Jim
Hi Ty! I feel your pain. I've gone through the GoDaddy transfer process too. I was successful, but like you, I also lost time zig-zagging around. Now on to more interesting and fun adventures! :)
