Be Kind To Yourself
I want to let share abit about why I am here and what my true desire is. I came from an abusive relationship for years and when I finally got out I had no confidence and no self-worth. I was mentally and emotionally broken, but that is what brought me to meditation and to learning how to be mindful. I slowly started believing in myself again and I knew that I had a purpose to help others to live in the now and to always value who they are. Now I am really telling on myself here I am in my mid fifties and learning to rebuild your life I thought was hard, but nothing compared to learning to work with computers. I am not a slow learner and did good in school, but we did not have this technology and needless to say I am way behind. I am writing this blog because I want everyone to understand how amazing they are and to say a big thanks to everyone at Wealthy Affiliate that has offered a helping hand. I am convinced that I picked the right program this time and because the message I want to share is so important to me I will succeed. I am a firm believer today that it is important to live with gratitude and to show your appreciation, so thanks everyone at Wealthy Affiliate. Let me say this I did not share my personal life for sympathy, but to let anyone know that if they are facing struggles not to give up and to be kind to their self and others. We are all connected and need to be caring to everyone.

Hi, I liked what you had to say, I too came from a background of abuse. Yes the past is in the past, but we wouldn't have been as strong as we are now had we not been there. Amazingly strong for what we endured... this is our time to shine. You're going to move mountains girl, I'm 63 and I just found a niche lol... life has arisen! We deserve to be here! Go for it girl.
Glad you are here. Not many make it out of abuse. But count yourself as one among many. My mom survived being raped and molested by relatives. If you were to see her today you could not tell. She is so full of Joy and Happiness. She may not of achieved what she wanted to in life. But she has a wonderful husband(my dad) and wonderful children and church family, who was there during the hard times and who are here now during the good and aging like "Fine Wine" times. Glad to have you here! Welcome aboard!!!
Nothing is too hard to achieve. The journey maybe arduous, but that said journey is what makes it worth while.
