Progress made - it's rubbish, but it's a start
I am just sharing the fact that I am half way through lesson 3. I have built some content which was a major stumbling point - that whole 'getting started' idea. Anyway, I have my first content, my first post, and it is utterly rubbish, but i'm excited - why? Because getting started was a major hurdle for me.
I am someone who only does something with the aim of the perfect finished article, which of course I am learning is not the case. This is a slow, disciplined, iterative process, where the start creates perpetual momentum. Feeling happy, learning loads and thanks to WA :)

The famous writer Ernest Hemingway addresses this problem succinctly. Ernest Hemingway — ‘The first draft of anything is shit'
Keep on. Revisions shine!
Keep learning and writing! I don't like all of my stuff, too, but as youb said it's a start! Here in Greece we say that the start is the half of all!
Many thanks - starting to find my flow. I think the trick is to not worry about it being perfect, or complete, or, well good - at least to begin with. Good luck with your venture!

Many thanks for the advice. I will indeed keep learning. such a great platform to do just that. I am one of those "want it all now" people, but appreciate that this will take a while, that is if I want it to succeed with some substance! All the best

I doubt it's rubbish! Think of it as building blocks. It's so important to celebrate your successes, no matter how insignificant they may appear to be.
