I have done some FaceBook marketing. For the first time.
So I have tried some Facebook marketing on my Tressmania page (https://www.facebook.com/tressmania01/)
I tested out for one day and the lowest budget, that was for me 25 NOK (Norwegian kroner) That is about 3 USD. The "Boost this" was on a post that was just a short sentence and a link to one of my posts on my website.
After the 24 hours had run out I had this result: 411 people reached, 11Post Engagements with 6 link clicks and 1 share. - Is that good? Is it worth it?
so it does work... I am now running 2 different ones:
One 7 days with budget of 44 NOK that is a Video, where I talk about the same article as before,
and one 14 days with the budget of 87 NOK that is a simple post on my FB page that talks about my website building progress with a link to WA.
- I have chosen all country's in Europe, North America , Australia and some other countries.. - That have specific interests that is about the same as my posts.
Should be well targeted for a global downloadable product....
The facebook "Boost" marketing is easy to use, and it seems to work well. Time will tell..:-)
I will come back and tell you how it does.. And most importantly if it results in any sales.

Well, I just started a facebook marketing Campaign. going on for a month. I recieve lots of traffic and clicks from another country. never any clicks in the Us. I don't know I may give it another shot and see what happens.
I started out with a small budget when i first did facebook marketing. I've gotten a high amount of traffic and link clicks but no sales, along with a very high number of post reaches.
I post some of my products to by business's facebook page and use the boost post button. I also allow the post to run on Instagram.
I haven't had sales from FB marketing in this form, yet I think the idea is to create awareness and offer a free gift to get contact information. When you have their contact information, communicating with that leads 5-7 times (via email, sms, etc) results in sales for your business.
I shall wait for the next news from you.
