I Made Two Sales on Amazon! Could This Be Real? README!
Huh, I actually made two sales on my website! A wopping .33 cents commission. Ha! You know what's funny? I start a Pet Clothes affiliate store, right? And (at the time) Amazon was handing out 8% as the commission. Update, they changed it to 3%! <sigh> This goes to prove that one needs to have MANY websites with different niches. This is also why WA hosts up to 10 free websites as a premium member. You take those free web addresses and when you make it look great, transfer it over to your own domain names.
Boy, what should I do with the 33 cents? Hmmm. Lots of options here, but I don't see anymore 1 cent gumball machines now-a-days. Ho-hum. Of course, one won't get any money from them until your set amount is reached (for me, it's $100). Now comes the SEO, keyword search galore, and my bit in advertising to YT, Pinterest, and Facebook (be careful with their ad rules. Read Everything rules wise).
I also started a YouTube Channel, but I won't make it public until I make 60 videos. Am adding cards to them, setting them up to go from one video to another once a user views the first one, etc. The links are in my profile if you want to keep checking up on it. Can't list them in this blog. I'm really having fun getting everything setup. It hasn't been easy, but good work never is. I haven't mastered the advertising rules on YT, Pinterest, Facebook or Adsense yet, so it'll take time. Nothing happens overnight. I did use Fiverr.com to do my logos and banners, plus to create the videos for my YT channel.
I will do all I can to improve my websites, YT Channels and advertising platforms. I've wasted enough time already sitting on my butt doing nothing. Our attention span can be short, but your monthly money sent to WA is wasted if you do not take advantage of all the training, videos and online help through live chats. The opportunities are out there. You just have to open that door and let everyone know that you exist.

Amazon is like some people I know. You can't live without them and you also can't live with them.
Since they sell almost everything, being an associate can add credibility since everyone has heard of Amazon. And you need to maintain one sale every 180 days so your account won't get closed. They don't provide a minimum amount of the sale. So you're doing good!

I know what you mean, Trent, and if it was here in the US, after taxes, you miught end up with $.07! Now if you sold a million of those items, just think about that, then! Still, it is always nice to get a sale or two!

Thank you kyle. It took a lot of work to be where my site is, even if I had a little help. I still have a lot of training left to finish. When i'm done with it, then I can do the advertising for wealthy affiliate and get involved in that boot camp. Thanks to wealthy affiliate for all you've done to get me to where I am today.
