Never Give Up

There is and old Japanese Proverb that says
“Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare” This is so true, and it’s something we all need to take into account.
How many of us have sat and daydreamed about success or adventure or a myriad of many other things, and never have any of that come to pass. We spend way too much time just thinking about things, and never applying any action.
It’s okay…in fact I think it’s healthy to give the mind a break from the everyday hustle and bustle of life, and just have a quiet place to retreat and quiet the mind.
But there also has to be the active process of creating a vision for your future. There is a passage in the Bible I’m reminded of that says “Without a vision the people perish.”
Vision is the engine or that driving force that keeps us going, that thing that gives us purpose and allows us to give shape to our future.
Without a vision we find ourselves without direction, and without direction we have no purpose, and without purpose we begin to feel worthless, beat down and defeated.
So you see having a vision is so important and necessary. So vital to not only our success but I believe to our overall health and wellbeing.
It can also be as equally disastrous to be so anxious to achieve something in our life, that we jump ahead without a well thought out plan, and end up regretting we ever did anything.
So before you do anything decide what it is you want to achieve, and find someone else who has already did that very thing. Having a roadmap, or a person to model your success after is one of the surest ways to success. Because if someone else has done it, you can be reassured you can too.
And if you’re a trailblazer just make sure you spend plenty of time researching your decisions. And if something your try doesn’t work, don’t get discouraged. just readjust your course of action and try something different.
You’re sure to succeed if you never give up.
