The next step after choosing your keyword(s) for your article would be to choose the title of your article. Now many people would recommend that you choose your title after you have written the article, but I personally advise you to decide on a title before you start writing. This will help you to keep the main keyword the focus of your article without diverging too much.

What I usually do is to integrate my main keyword into my title. This ensures that the target audience immediately find the answer they were looking for.

Of course using the keyword as is could work, but I recommend you add a little flesh and bones to the keyword to give it a little more intent.

There are many ways to add more intent to your title.
  1. Start your title with: "Top 10 ways to...", "5 reasons to not...", etc.
  2. Start your title with: "Review: [insert keyword]"
  3. Add a short sentence after the keyword (i.e. How to make money online - an online entrepreneur's guide to achieving maximum success)
  4. Use words evoking urgency (i.e "The last chance to...", "Losing that weight right now", etc.)
  5. Use capital letters in certain focus words, i.e. NOW, SALE, REVIEW
  6. Use exclamation marks to reinforce urgency

These are just a few of the tips I find useful when writing my own titles. At the end of the day the first thing the audience will see is your title so make sure it is memorable.
