Step One - Find your keyword

Use Jaaxy Keyword & Niche Research tool on the left hand side of your menu to do your research.

In this tutorial, you do not need to open the full Jaaxy Dashboard, just use the popup search box within the Wealthy Affiliate platform...

Narrow down your keyword research until you find something suitable...

For example, I searched for 'Why does my cat attack me'

In the process, I found the perfect keyword for my post which is 'why does my cat attack my ankles'. The two indicators I pay the most attention to are:

  • Average monthly searches - I try and focus on keywords with 100+
  • The QSR - Quoted Search Results - I like the QSR to be a single digit if at all possible (my personal preference!)


Click on your preferred keyword to select.

Karen, thanks for sharing this tutorial! I didn't realize that we could save it to site content or a draft post. This will save me a lot of time since I love keyword research but don't really use the saved list feature much. I do use site content to write.

Hi Sondra, I know right? I've got a heap of keyword lists saved, but never bother to go back and look at them. This is going to be heaps better as they are in Site Content and that's what I'm using now to draft all my content. They will remain firmly front of mind!.
