This is how to add images to your post

On your Edit Post page, click where you want the image to be inserted in the text, then click on the Add Media button. That will open up a new window, that gives you two options.

Upload Files, that give you the access to upload a media file from your computer and insert it into the Wordpress Media Library.

Media Library if the image you want to insert into your post is already uploaded into the Media Gallery.

When you click the Add Media button

The Media Library opens and show you the images you have uploaded, click once on the image you want to insert into your post.

That opens up some editing options for you, it is very important and a must for your Image Search Optimization that you enter a descriptive and accurate title in the image title tag, and also do the same in the alt Text option,

Ok, so I have clicked at the right end of my first heading and I would like to have the image to appear to the right of the text, and I also like the image to be of medium size, how do I do it ?
This is the settings I used to make that happen.

And that gives me this result when I preview my post

If you click the image in your Edit Post page, you can now choose different alignments of the image and alter it's position in the text.

Congratulation, you have now added and positioned a image into your post, Next let's insert a video, the easiest way is to grab the embed code from You Tube and insert it into the code of the page, stay tuned and I will show you.

Head over to YouTube and grab a Video Embed code snippet, I'll use one of my own to show you how to get the video into the same post as we inserted the image.

Then head back to your Edit Post page, click on thetext button in the upper right corner of the editor, next to the visual button.
You must always be in text mode, if you want to add any code to your site.

Once in Text Mode click and paste the embed code snippet you copied from the YouTube page, and paste it in where you want your video to appear.

That gives me this result when I preview my post
