As I mentioned before, there are two ways to put code into our webpage, in the sidebar, we use the text widget. In the content area of your page, you click text mode, and insert your code into the page where you want it to appear.

Go to your Wealthy Affiliate page, click on the airplane, and then click on banners

Choose the banner you want to appear in your sidebar

Copy the HTML code and paste it into a text widget.

Apply the code to the text widget

Go to appearances and widgets, drag the text widget over to the main sidebar, open it and paste in the code you grabbed from WA Banners.

This is the result of those settings

The banner I picked from WA Banners, now appears on the top in the sidebar.

If you want to add banners in the content page

Go to the Edit Post page, click on Text Mode and insert your code into where you want your banner to appear within the content.
